The morning of the photo session
for this painting was foggy, so we
waited for the fog to burn off.  By
then, the sun was high in the
sky, which is usually difficult to
work with. (It is hot for the
people posing, and makes for
strong shadows on the faces.)
But we all made the best of the
situation, and I think the painting
is delightful.
